The Ever Changing Boy

In Wellington we have a pride parade which are outdoor events celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer social and self acceptance. It's a colorful event which made me think about photographing drag queens inspired by their theatrics and powerful personalities. I placed an add in a local drag queen face book group asking if anyone would like a free studio shoot and we had a lot of interest. I needed to take more photographers with me and hire a studio in town. That's the day I met Bjorn, an amazing performer covering dance, acting, singing and modelling. His performance name is The Ever Changing Boy and this is my favorite photo of him striking a pose at a collaboration we did at our Studio with Team Adidas. Model - The Ever Changing Boy

Haley has been my biggest fan and supporter since I started in photography. During this time we have been a couple, and friends. She has watched me grow and been more than willing to participate in early morning sunrise photography, to sitting in front of my lights so I can learn. She did years of that with me. I don't see Haley that much anymore as she lives in another city with her new family chasing her own dreams. We were able to let each other be free and encourage each other to be happy. For that, we will always be close. Thanks Hales. Love you heaps. Model - Haley Malcolm

I was looking forward to this shoot. The crew that I had with me were the best I knew and we got the whole church to ourselves. I still remember the smell of the wood and how nice the lady was that let us use the place. Rasha Taylor deserves a special mention. She is an insane designer and let us go down to her store to use whatever we wanted. Thank you Rasha. Model - Suzy Broad HMUA - Lilith Feuerriegel Dress - Rasha Taylor
